Summer Camp

4-weeks of Camp | 9:15–1pm | Ages 6–10
Join us for Summer fun in the sun. Children will be inspired by our weekly programs, giving them a chance to learn and create in new ways all summer long. Explore Yoga and Art, the beauty of the natural world and so much more using a mixture of media from clay to paint, fibers, collage, printmaking and drawing. Something new each day!

Parents are invited to come 15 minutes early on the last Friday of camp, for a small art show of all children’s work.

About our Camp Sessions

Apprentice to the Masters | June 22–26

Teacher: Philip DiWilliams

Students will learn about iconic artists such as Monet, Andy Warhol, Yayoi Kusami, and Georgia O’Keeffe. They’ll practice replicating famous masterpieces while learning foundational techniques in painting and drawing. They’ll also have the opportunity to reinterpret classic works with their own creative twist.
Collaborative Work: Create a large mural inspired by a master artist’s work.

Summer Fun in the Sun | June 29 – July 2

Teacher: Christine Walinski

Summer is here and that means - FUN! Through art, we will explore our favorite summer activities like the beach, ice cream and enjoying the sun. Students will have hands-on creative experiences in painting, ceramics and mixed media.
4-day Session: No Collaborative work.

Animals: Real and Make Believe | July 6–10

Teacher: Philip DiWilliams

Get inspired by your favorite creature of the wild. Children will create 2-D and 3-D art of their favorite animals and be inspired to invent new ones. We will expand upon art elements while incorporating clay, painting, printmaking and more.
Collaborative Work: TBD

Art and Yoga | July 13–17

Teacher: Michele Lorraine

Yoga is a great way to calm bodies, minds and emotions, while art offers valuable avenues for self-expression. During this week children will stretch and energize their bodies and learn self calming and relaxation techniques. They will explore creative outlets through a variety of art materials like painting and clay. Bring your own yoga mat!
